Today, the birth of Christ, though debated that it didn't take place in winter but in early spring because that was the time to pay taxes and complete a census is still the time of year that I have celebrated Christ coming into the world as a man-child and a King. For unto us is born this day the Savior of the world.
Today, meditate on things that can become your God--money, success, prestige, lust--things you give more of yourself to than you give to God. Our greatest enemy, Lucifer, the angel of darkness, came to kill, steal, and destroy God's creation. Meditate on that awhile.
Lift your soul up in meditation today and trust the Lord for His instruction.
Your hope is in this Christ-child who will return to claim His church, His bride. Pray for God's mercy and love to save you from the enemy, Satan, the father of lies. God will guide you and teach you His ways. Listen! Pray. Read His Word! How do you receive God's instruction?
If your hope is in Christ Jesus, your integrity will protect you through Him.
Watch your words. A gentle tongue can break a bone. Lying tears down a house and destroys relationships. Lying is the same as a deep, searing pain from a stabbing. Do you have an enemy that doesn't leave you alone? Constant irritation and disrespect are his or her ammunition. Try this! Invite this person out to eat or fix a meal with a refreshing beverage and be polite and compassionate. In doing this, you will heap burning coals on his or her head, and the Lord will reward you!

Cry out to the Lord for mercy and He will respect you and your prayers. Put your hope in Him and He will come on time to answer you. God is my hope. Put your hope in Him as well, and know the affects of His unfailing love.
Hatred stirs up dissension. Love covers many, many sins. Cover your sins, and
those of others, with God's love. God's blessings bring wealth to you, and as a man or woman of righteousness, take delight in wisdom.
The Lord's ways are a refuge for the righteous who will never be uprooted and joy will become your heart's song. If you need help from the Lord and you seem to be overwhelmed, pray that Jesus will come quickly!
Praise the Lord and He will come expediently to your rescue. Shout for joy to the Lord and worship Him with gladness. Take comfort in God knowing He is loving and forgiving. The Lord is good and His love endures forever.

This day, exalt the Lord and believe in what He has called you to do. Be healed and blessed and share what God has done for you. God's favor lasts a lifetime. You might start this day after a long night of weeping but remember, rejoicing comes with the morning. Rejoice! Be glad and rejoice!
Be careful with pride today. We can become overwhelmed with wealth and material objects even in self-sufficiency. Know that all we have and all we'll be come from our Heavenly Father.
If you feel like your life is falling apart, take hope in God's restoration. It won't be a simple, undetected restoration but a very visible and complete mending of the fractures.
Don't be fearful of the world's situations--wars, strife, greed, and arrogance--remember, God knows the future of every nation. God will provide help against Satan and other enemies of the Lord's children. Hope never dies.
Remember the majesty and awesomeness of God. He alone created the heavens when He spoke them into being. Sound like a "big bang theory?" God's voice from everlasting to everlasting always creating and restoring. Be thankful today for forgiveness and grace. Both are the beginning of restoration. Let your hope be found in a heart of wisdom. When wisdom isn't enough, use compassion and unfailing love. Let God's favor rest on you and establish the work of your hands. Let everything that has breath praise Him. Live each day whether in want or plenty.
