Today, the birth of Christ, though debated that it didn't take place in winter but in early spring because that was the time to pay taxes and complete a census is still the time of year that I have celebrated Christ coming into the world as a man-child and a King. For unto us is born this day the Savior of the world.

Today, meditate on things that can become your God--money, success, prestige, lust--things you give more of yourself to than you give to God. Our greatest enemy, Lucifer, the angel of darkness, came to kill, steal, and destroy God's creation. Meditate on that awhile.

Lift your soul up in meditation today and trust the Lord for His instruction.
Your hope is in this Christ-child who will return to claim His church, His bride. Pray for God's mercy and love to save you from the enemy, Satan, the father of lies. God will guide you and teach you His ways. Listen! Pray. Read His Word! How do you receive God's instruction?

If your hope is in Christ Jesus, your integrity will protect you through Him.
Watch your words. A gentle tongue can break a bone. Lying tears down a house and destroys relationships. Lying is the same as a deep, searing pain from a stabbing. "Gossip causes the same destruction. Next time you talk about someone and it's gossip, see yourself stabbing them with a sword with every lie you speak." Do you have an enemy that doesn't leave you alone? Constant irritation and disrespect are his or her ammunition. Try this! Invite this person out to eat or fix a meal with a refreshing beverage and be polite and compassionate. In doing this, you will heap burning coals on his or her head, and the Lord will reward you!

Today is the first day of a holiday season starting with Thanksgiving. Nothing touches God's heart more effectively than one being thankful for His provisions. Your life sign says a lot about your character--it's a fruit tree. According to God's Word, you are like a tree planted by the streams of water so that whatever you do prospers. As a fruitful tree, you delight in God's Word, therefore, you pray and meditate to know God's will for your life. You are a productive and prosperous person standing firm and strong.

You are blessed with God's protection as you grow in relationship to your Lord. To understand God's love and provision, let your lifestyle be God-directed while living spiritually fruitful. Others see that you are not afraid when you take refuge in your Heavenly Father.

You have difficulty understanding those who blatantly worship idols. As a friend, you are faithful and loving even compassionate. Let others see you as joyful and glad even during times of affliction. Take heart for God will protect you from your enemies and place your feet in a spacious place.
