From scriptures Psalms 27, 57, 87, 117, 147 & Proverbs 27
Today, when you face something or someone causing you fear or anxiety, remember this:
1. Jesus is your light and salvation;
2. He is your stronghold; and
3. The Word promises help & hope to get through any situation using your faith added to that of Christ.
Conquering fear can be possible with the light of salvation applied to the fear of what we can't see because fear covered by darkness can be very scary, however, light that shines on the cover of darkness disspells its power. Run to Jesus, the Light of the world. If fear continues to the point of anxiety and despair, hold tight to Jesus, your stronghold where you can survive the threat and maintain a fortified fortress. Find a prayer partner you can call when you need immediate help--someone to talk to right away. An e-mail pen pal works well too.
Ask God to let you dwell in His presence then make plans for things that remind you that God is near.
1. Read His Word daily as often as you can but at least once. He prefers we seek Him in the morning when we're rested and preparing to start the day.
2. Pray specifically for your needs that seem to be causing your anxiety. Listen to the Lord with your spiritual ears and an open heart and make a note of the instructions you received from Him.
3. Remember, having someone to talk to about your fear takes its power away or weakens it so you can go on with your life.
4. Keep a journal with the verses that have helped you or the prayers you have been using to diminish fear.
Using uplifting and/or worship music puts Satan and his cohorts on the run. One usually finds a sense of feeling better just from singing or dancing or both. Serve others with needs like the sick, widowed, children needing a mentor, a neighbor, or even a friend. Paint your bedroom. Take more walks. Get a walking partner.
Take heart. Be strong and confident. Work on your confidence by keeping the Word in your heart and mind. You are a child of the King of the universe. You are Jesus' brother or sister by adoption. Read Galatians 2:20. Write down 3 reasons why you can be strong, confident, and unafraid. Keep them in your pocket and take them out and read them when you feel anxious. Memorize them and other uplifting scriptures like Psalm 91, Psalm 23, & John 10:10. John 10:10 says Satan came to kill, steal, and destroy. However, Jesus came that we might live an abundant life. This means fear has no place in our lives when Jesus died that we might have life.
Friends are good for one's sense of confidence. They're like perfume and fresh air, they bring joy to your heart and earnest counsel when you need words of direction and/or encouragement.

God has made a way for you to have a blameless life. This doesn't mean you are sinless. Humans live in a condemned world in condemned flesh that makes it impossible to live sinless, however, we can live blameless because of God's mercy through His sinless Son. If you sin, don't let Satan tell you a lie and make you feel you can't go to God over that sin. That's the reason you have joy! You are and will be forever blameless thanks to Jesus taking upon His precious, sinless body all and every sin of all humanity.
If you're carrying sin around ashamed and sure God's mad at you about that sin, He is not. All He wants is for you to admit to Him you've sinned with no conditions on the action of your confession. God's will for you life, today, is to remember you can always walk in His truth--always. Love God's place where He lives and praise Him from your heart just as David did. From your blameless heart, allow your praise to turn into dancing and singing.
Trust God, today, when you face a situation that is fearful. Remember, mortal man can do nothing to you--nothing, for your heavenly Father is your protection. This insures to you that God is for you.
Your vows to God are evident and true; prevent losing your rights to be in the presence of God so you can live in His blessed light.
Stay away from fools. Don't argue with them. They become 'wise' in their own eyes. Don't hurt your friends by dissing them and then saying, "I'm just kidding!" Don't argue and gossip. Slander turns to a hot flaming arrow! If you don't gossip, the quarreling dies down. Those who flatter you to your face harbor deceit for you in their hearts. Today, the birth of Christ, though debated that it didn't take place in winter but in early spring because that was the time to pay taxes and complete a census is still the time of year that I have celebrated Christ coming into the world as a man-child and a King. For unto us is born this day the Savior of the world.
Today, meditate on things that can become your God--money, success, prestige, lust--things you give more of yourself to than you give to God. Our greatest enemy, Lucifer, the angel of darkness, came to kill, steal, and destroy God's creation. Meditate on that awhile.
Lift your soul up in meditation today and trust the Lord for His instruction.
Your hope is in this Christ-child who will return to claim His church, His bride. Pray for God's mercy and love to save you from the enemy, Satan, the father of lies. God will guide you and teach you His ways. Listen! Pray. Read His Word! How do you receive God's instruction?
If your hope is in Christ Jesus, your integrity will protect you through Him.

Invite this person out to eat or fix a meal with a refreshing beverage and be polite and compassionate. In doing this, you will heap burning coals on his or her head, and the Lord will reward you!

Today, pay special attention to something that has been neglected in your life for awhile. Give it all your attention at sometime today. You will find a special sense of thankfulness to God as He blesses you. You will want to sing worship to Him, journal to Him or spend time in prayer for your needs.
Remember, how much God values honesty so you'll be less likely to lie or give false testimony. Dishonest communication hinders relationships. Don't put your relationships in danger because of dishonesty. Repent if needed so you can repair any problems with others especially God. He doesn't expect anything in return; no penitent behavior is needed for forgiveness, only a contrite and repentant heart.
Let your prayer be "save me, O God" and vindicate me with Your might. Take heart in knowing God is your help and the one who sustains you.
Give God a free will offering by praising Him freely thanking Him for His goodness & saving you from your troubles.
Note: A free will offering is one given to God or others with no expectations except the comfort of knowing you are forgiven.

As your day may becoming heavy and filled with unfinished tasks, God will anoint you with His best oil and prepare a table for you even in front of your enemies. Take pride in your relationship with a Holy Father.
Praise the Lord in thanksgiving at the end of the day. Thank Him for His love sent to us in the person of Christ Jesus. Thank Him for forgiveness and mercy we have every new morning. They are the gifts we don't have to wait until Christmas Day to open. They are a given!
