Today, is a day for blessing others so you can be blessed in return. When you cry out in distress the God of Jacob will protect you. If you have been planning something like a project at work or redecorating your home, ask God and He will give you the desire of your heart. As you pray today, that God will hear you and your needs, He will increase your joy and bring victory to you and those you love.

God calls you to Himself from the rising of the sun until it sets. He knows your needs but He's waiting for you to ask for the help you need. Are you suffering or going through despair maybe feeling overwhelmed? God will send help from His sanctuary. Never give up on your hope.

If there is some reason you need restoration, God is waiting for your repentance and thanksgiving. Don't be ashamed or scared just ask! Talk to your Daddy God. Stay with Him in His presence until His face shines upon you and gives you peace. Take hope in your salvation and your mercy that is new every morning. Know for sure that you are not straddling the fence about your relationship with Jesus. He was a great teacher but that was not why He came to us. Know, today, December 20th, 2009 that Jesus is one part of the God-head. He is God just like El Shaddai, Father God, is the second part of the trinity. And the Holy Spirit is the third part of the trinity.

Remember me today when I am in trouble and need help to fight the enemy. God you are my God. Hear my cry for mercy and be my shield and defender. You, O Lord, will secure justice for me, Father, and take care of me when I'm needy and want Your protection. I will live upright for you Lord God. In Jesus' name...let it be.

Today, as you go through the day and feel you have offended someone, be quick to ask their forgiveness. Remember, God's laws are sweeter than honey. By God's Words & ordinances you are warned to live by them and in keeping them you will have much reward. Ask your Heavenly Father to help you not be ruled by willful and hidden sins.

Let God's Word be the very Words that come from your mouth and become the meditation of your heart. Please the Lord by living in His presence and let Him be pleased that you have chosen Him as your Rock & Redeemer.

Today, you will feel okay with a steadfast heart. Sing music to exalt the Lord. Sing with all your soul. Find peace in God saving you. God's love for you is so great that it reaches to the heavens.
God is strong and makes me bold to stand what this day brings. Sing and listen to praise and worship music. The Lord has fulfilled His purpose for you and you are given over to follow His lead. Do not abandon what you've been called to do.

Be good at being a good friend. A foolish man pursues his own wants. A fool takes no pleasure in understanding except what he feels are all about him. If one answers a question before thinking about the correct response, leads himself to shame. Your spirit can sustain you while you're sick.

If your heart is discerning you have understanding. God has many gifts for those He loves. Open your gift. It will bring greatness with it.The tongue has the power of life and death, and those who love it will eat the results--life or death.

Take Note (This is not a Biblescope) Just Thoughts

These verses caused me to break down and cry like I've not done in a long time. The first thing that made me take a deep breath was the Psalmist's thoughts from verses 40-46. Have you ever wondered why bad things happen to good people? Seriously! There are days when my pain is so great and I plead and cry out for God to heal me but he doesn't. From Psalm 106 & 107 there are some interesting thoughts that make for great meditation.

Trouble comes to people to make them humble. Hum! I'm the least humble person I know. Suffering draws us back to God and away from the secular allurements of the world. It seems when I need help God is so far from me. I'm also suppose to revive my prayers and their true purpose--to help others with needs. Suffering reminds me that God is the only one that can help me when I can't help myself. And when I can't take any more, I submit my will to Christ's and feel His compassion wash over me like a strong, warm wave at the beach.

When in distress, I wander and get lost until I call out from despair and sorrow in my soul. When I became foolish and rebellious, no matter how ungodly I acted, God breaks through my suffering and helps me.

God has done so much for me in 57 years. Some people don't believe one should talk about their illnesses as if it gives the disease or illness power. God wants us to stand and when we've done all else stand even if there's fear. Fear should not prevent us from facing sickness, disease, or even death. That's not so. I do believe certain people are chosen to suffer more than others as a testimony to God's compassion and power for our well-being. This sounds simple and maybe even foolish but I'll either be completely healed in present eternity or after death in the presence of God in future eternity. Healing now or healing in God's presence, there will be healing for Christians believing in God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit. The numbers in parentheses are counting the number of blessings and trials I've faced.

The life-threatening instances (1)began at birth. My mother was dying from a difficult 3-day labor. The doctor told my family he might be able to save me but not my mother. Divine intervention brought both of us through preparing my parents for another life-threatening illness. (2)When I was 3 years old, in February 1955, I contracted poliomyelitis that led to encephalitis and a 7-day coma with relentless unrelenting fever as high as 105.6 degrees Fahrenheit. The doctors told my family there was nothing else they could do. They should do what was necessary for my "passing." On the 8th day I woke up and when I started the first grade, I went to school on my own. No crutches, no wheel chair! I walked to school and have been walking well until 1988. My family spent much time in prayer and faith, and this and God's mercy saved my life.

(3)My parents fought, Dad left for days and didn't even come home to get groceries. My Mom worked as a seamstress so she brought work home with her. When my father's alcoholism took great hold on him it affected the rests of us even now into adulthood. I left home to get away from alcoholism and the abuse that hurts so much. I could handle the physical pain but the emotional pain was the worst.

(4) I got married when I was 18 and had my first child when I was 19. This was an amazing moment to see the precious little life I'd carried for nine months. She became my very existence. We had fun everyday. She always woke up cheerful and happy. My second child was born a little more than 2 years later. When she was born my husband walked in one day and said, "I want a divorce. I don't love you. I never did." This almost did me in. The divorce end only after 4 years.

I met a wonderful man who told me he fell in love with me the minute he saw me and we were married 1 1/2 months later. We have been married 33 years working on 34 years. And I am blessed. He takes care of my every need. (5)You see, I was diagnosed with multiple sclerosis, an incurable debilitating disease--a chronic progressive entity. I also became depressed. I was 38 years old and I thought my life was over. I finally got a hold of the depression and went back to college. I got my MED in Technological Studies. I started teaching high school and I loved it! My fourth year teaching I developed Type II Diabetes and could no long stand on feet because of diabetic ulcers. I tried teaching at the college level in my mobility scooter for 3 years part-time but the stress was too much so, I've retired on disability.

In March of 2009, I thought I was going home to be with the Lord. I was admitted to St. Mary's Hospital, in a semi-comatose state that worsened. I was in kidney failure, had encephalitis, had pneumonia and a collapsed lung, had septicemia (strep infection in the blood), fever of 104.0 degrees Fahrenheit. There were other things wrong but I think you might get the picture. I was in the hospital for 1 month before going home. But I did go home. I'm taking care of my kidneys and my diabetic ulcers. And I'm praising God for all He's done for me.

Biblescope for everyone today 12/17/09: Today, the Lord will hear your righteous plea and give an ear to each of your prayers. The Lord will see what is right and truthful and He will vindicate you against your foes. Though you make promises that will sometimes be hard to keep, you have the Lord Jesus to help you keep those promises. Call to the Lord, and you know He will answer you. In doing this, Heavenly Father, You show me the wonder of Your great love and You will save those who take refuge in You. Praise God today, with a shout of joy from deep in your heart. We have been chosen to be His children and the bride to His Son Jesus. God loves songs of praise and adoration from His people. Our songs should be filled with thankfulness and psalms of purest praise.

If today you feel God isn't listening, His favor is gone or His unfailing love has vanished, search your heart for the song of praise and reverence. Today is a good day for meditation on God's mighty works. There is so much to thank God for that we can't express all of these things. However, we can close our eyes and meditate on Him and Him alone.

Today, don't be overwhelmed by loneliness but instead, strengthen yourself with love from family and friends. God will rise up and protect you with His provisions for your safety. Take hope in the Word of God--His Son, Jesus Christ. Take heed to listen to the voice of God. Let your soul thirst for the Lord as a deer pants for water and then you will be filled.

The Words of the Lord are flawless like silver refined seven times. The Lord will protect you from those who are deceitful. When you find yourself feeling lonely, seek help from other believers. If you are tempted to tell a lie no matter how big or how small, God does not overlook lies in any form.

Allow your thirst to be taken care of by your obedience in seeking God. If you're feeling depressed, meditate on God's goodness. Make a list, pray over that list; remember, as you focus on God's abilities to answer you and lift you up from a depressed state of mind, put your hope in Christ. For by day, God shows His love to me and at night He sings me to sleep. There is no reason for you to doubt His love for you. You will praise Him and adore Him forever.
