Today, praise God for the life He has given you. His greatness provides you with the blessing of His creation, His sustaining care, and His provision of redemption. Meditate on your thoughts of what Christ does for you and appreciate Him and praise Him from your heart.
Don't be around mockers, the wicked, or hang out with sinners. Pray that God will give you the strength you need to sustain you through despair over pain or trial. God has made a way for us to get to eternity. There are only two paths of life --God's way that is obedience to His will or the path that leads to eternal hell that is the way of destruction and rebellion.
Meditate on your delight in God's law & precepts. Be like a tree that is planted by streams of water that yields its fruit in due season; whatever you do will prosper. Take refuge in God when you are overwhelmed. He will be your rock and strong tower. Ley the Lord's refuge be a shelter under His wings and in His tents. Let your love and faithfulness protect me. Sing praises to God forever and fulfill your vows day after day.
Trust in the Lord to fulfill His help through His covenant with you. Trade your fears for faith no matter how intense your fears are. Say to Satan, "The Lord is my refuge and my fortress, my God, in whom I trust." Entrust yourself to God's protection and pledge your daily devotion to Him and you will be kept safe. Trust God's care for you to come with angels watching over you and even when there is cause for great fear and stress.
Your love for the Lord is reason enough for Him to rescue you. He really doesn't need your love to be rescued. God's love is unconditional. Call on the Lord in and He will answer you. God will be with you when trouble comes. He will deliver you and honor you. With longlife He will satisfy you and show you your salvation.
If you need strength look to the hills and their majesty. This will remind you that your help comes from God. God will keep you from falling and getting hurt. God watches over us day and night and He never sleeps or slumbers. He watches your coming and going forever!
Know God's wisdom and dsicipline and you will be wise. Do what is right, just and fair. Use knowledge and discretion while listening to instruction and adding to your learning. Don't be foolish! Fear the Lord which is the beginning of knowledge.
Wear instruction and teaching from your parents like a garland on your head or around your neck. Don't give in to those who tempt you to sin. Friendliness with sin leads to destruction. Don't set foot on the paths to destruction. Wisdom is yours when you practice having the mind of Christ:
- a single-mindedness;
- a spiritual mind;
- a submissive mind; and
- a secure mind.
